The story is set in the future, at a venue operated by Willis called Virtual World, which has a group of robots used as victims for humans to vent their emotions and carry out various cruel crimes that cannot be perpetrated in real life. The robots undergo a reboot every night to erase their memories from the previous 24 hours, but the reboot process does not work on one robot (played by Anbaich Childs), which gains memories and self-awareness, escaping what feels like hell to it, Virtual World. It teams up with a police officer played by Thomas Jane, who is determined to take down Virtual World, and a robot designer played by Jonathan Scarch, to confront Willis.
