Ten years have passed, and the war between humans and the arachnids has intensified. One day, Air Force Marshal Omar Anoke (played by Stephen Hogan) visits the far-off human farm, Roku Mountain, accompanied by Colonel Johnny Rico (played by Casper Van Dien). During this time, Anoke's mind is controlled by the Bug King; he cuts off the power to the quarantine zone, leaving the base completely unprotected. That night, the arachnids launch a full-scale attack on the quarantine zone. Although the Earth forces resist bravely, they ultimately suffer defeat due to being outnumbered, and the base falls. Anoke escapes with a group of loyalists, and their ship crash-lands on planet OM-1. Rico is sentenced to execution by hanging for dereliction of duty, but is rescued by a secret government agency just before the execution. Anoke knows the location of the Federation Fleet's base, and if the arachnids discover it, the consequences would be dire. Therefore, high-ranking officials require Rico to take a team to rescue the trapped Anoke…
