As December 31, 1999, and the year 2000 approach, the world's security systems are on the brink of total collapse. The U.S. government, known for the Y2K scare, took precautionary measures by backing up top-secret files on two drives. From U.S. Treasury records to military plans, these drives were to be protected by the CIA, NSA, and the President, as the loss of these documents could have devastating effects on U.S. national security. A decade later, a small-town cop (played by Douglas Rouillard) investigates a series of murders and discovers that the victims were soldiers released from a prison who had been imprisoned that same year. He quickly learns that behind these murders lies a conspiracy by the U.S. government to imprison and kill these soldiers involved in storing national security documents. Then, one of the drives goes missing. The question is, who took it and why? As the death toll rises, he turns to his brother for help, uncovering the truth and revealing the reality.
