Professional criminal Gilbert Galvin (played by Duhamel) escapes from a U.S. prison and crosses the border into Canada, where he assumes the alias Robert Whiteman and starts a new life. After falling in love and getting married, he claims to have accepted a job as a travel security consultant, but his bold criminal activities continue.
