"Inuyashiki" is adapted from the manga of the same name. The story follows Inuyashiki, an ordinary salaryman nearing 60, who is disrespected by his family and struggles to find meaning in his life. He is also diagnosed by a doctor to be near death. Disheartened, he and a young boy are unexpectedly struck by an alien being in a park, completely destroying their bodies. To avoid disrupting the order of Earth, the unknown alien allows Inuyashiki and the boy to be reborn—they transform into super-powered "humans" whose appearances are human but whose bodies are made of machinery, equipped with extraordinary combat abilities. What actions will these two "mechanical humans," still possessing their own will, take? And what impact will they have on the world?
