Shivani (played by Rani Mukherjee) is a female police officer filled with a sense of justice. By chance, she discovers a criminal gang targeting children. Following the clues, Shivani tracks down the mastermind, Karan (played by Tahir Raj Bhasin). When Karan learns that one of his subordinates, Katir, has leaked his whereabouts, he decides to kill him. Fortunately, Shivani arrives just in time, saving Katir, who then becomes a valuable source of information for her. In several confrontations between Shivani and Karan, Shivani always has the upper hand. As Karan loses trusted allies in these encounters, just when Shivani feels she is close to breaking this criminal gang, she is told that the case has been fully taken over by the Delhi police. If she insists on pursuing the investigation, she will become an enemy of the entire Delhi police force.
