Alice Langdan (Virginie Efira) is a 38-year-old single mother. She is beautiful and ambitious, but her ex-husband finds her uninteresting, so she throws herself into her work at a magazine. Alice is qualified to become the next editor-in-chief, but her boss and colleagues feel that her image is too old-fashioned and stiff, leaving her disheartened. One day on a plane, she unexpectedly meets a young and handsome guy, Balthazar (Pierre Niney), who is just 20 years old. When her colleagues see them together, they mistake her for being in a trendy sibling-like romance, which changes their attitude towards her. Alice believes this incident is the key to her promotion and begins to actively pursue Balthazar. What starts as an accidental meeting turns into an escalating entanglement.
