In the previous installment, the super-agent Augustus (Samuel L. Jackson) demonstrated his prowess but now finds himself in big trouble. He and weapons expert Tony are being pursued by killers in the underground command center of the NSA. Augustus suspects these assassins are assigned by radical elements within the government, aiming to subvert the nation's authority. Thus, he hopes to find a suitable agent to expose this nefarious conspiracy. Ultimately, Augustus identifies his best candidate, former special forces operative Darius (Ice Cube), who is currently imprisoned by military police for assaulting a superior officer. Augustus finds a way to help Darius break out of jail and persuades him to take on this national duty. So, Darius begins to take action!
