Pigeons can find their way home, but some never return. Racing pigeon No. 043 went missing seven years ago during a competition, and has suddenly reappeared, stirring painful memories for the pigeon-keeping family. The hot-tempered professional pigeon racer Master Ah-Qin (You Anshun) is obsessed with racing pigeons, while his son disappeared on the way to school and has been missing for seven years, allowing for a declaration of death, yet he and his wife Ah-Min (Yang Liyin) are in conflict. Their daughter Lulu (Li Mengyihua) is entering her rebellious teenage years, feeling that her home is just a cage.
