Arthur (played by Jason Statham), after years in the industry and with the help of his former partner Harry (played by Donald Sutherland), has become an outstanding killing machine. Arthur receives a new task: to assassinate Harry. Although he is reluctant to carry out the order, after realizing that Harry cannot escape death, he ultimately decides to personally see Harry off. Harry's son, Steve (played by Ben Foster), is determined to learn from Arthur in order to avenge his father. Under Arthur's training, Steve gradually masters the skills necessary to be a mechanic, collaborating with Arthur to complete one assassination mission after another. Although Arthur never tells Steve that he was the one who killed Harry, Steve eventually discovers that his father was murdered by Arthur, and the flames of revenge begin to rise within him... This film is a remake of the 1972 film of the same name, with a budget of about $40 million.
