An unexpected event brings ordinary chef Gu Shengnan (played by Zhou Dongyu) into contact with the domineering CEO Lu Jin (played by Takeshi Kaneshiro). Later, Lu Jin checks into the hotel where Gu Shengnan works, and unaware of each other's true identities, Gu Shengnan wins over Lu Jin's picky palate with a "witch's soup." A chef and a diner, their connection through food creates a wonderful bond. As Lu Jin's insomnia worsens, he accidentally falls asleep on Gu Shengnan's sofa, which then becomes his exclusive bed.
