Emily Blunt replaces the previously announced Holliday Grainger. She and Jamie Dornan will portray a pair of stubborn Irish lovers who grew up together. The male lead toils daily on the farm, enduring the disdain of his father (Christopher Walken), but what he can’t tolerate the most is his father’s threat to hand the family farm over to his American cousin (Jon Hamm). The female lead was once insulted by the male lead as a child, but sparks have flown between them over the years. Her mother (Dierdre Monaghan) vows to unite the two families before it's too late.
