Thief Harry (Liam Neeson) and his accomplices tragically die during a robbery, leaving the whereabouts of the stolen money unknown. His wife Veronica (Viola Davis) not only has to bear the pain of losing her husband but also faces death threats from local gangsters Jamal (Brian Tyree Henry) and Jatemme (Daniel Kaluuya), who want to obtain the money. In reality, Veronica possesses a secret weapon: Harry's secret notebook, where he meticulously documented all his robbery plans, including his next heist. Veronica hides the notebook and finds Harry's accomplice's wives, Linda (Michelle Rodriguez) and Alice (Elizabeth Debicki), and the three women decide to use the notebook to make a fortune for themselves.
