On the set of a bloody horror movie about murdering a husband, an eccentric director is nitpicking. Facing the camera, he begins to present a new story to the audience: near a small town in New Mexico, an escapee, after delaying pursuit with a car accident, is directed to a hotel converted from a church, where several forlorn guests are gathered, and the hotel clerk, Jerilyn (played by Jada Pinkett Smith), is quite impatient with her work. The pursuer, with the help of the police at the accident scene, tracks down the hotel, claiming that an escapee named Blake stole his key vial but reveals his true demonic nature when confronted. It turns out Blake is the heir of the Savior, and with the holy blood in the key vial, he and the others fend off the devil outside the hotel, as the demon and summoners continually attempt to break in with brute force and illusions. In a critical moment, Blake passes on the Savior's mission to Jerilyn... The director of this film has a series of works in both film and television, such as "The Haunting," and this "Devil's Knight" is his debut. The lead, Jada Pinkett Smith, later gained fame in "The Matrix" series.
