Frank is a diamond thief roaming California, successfully pulling off heists with his best friend. The mob notices his talent and wants to collaborate, while the police relentlessly pursue him, putting constant pressure on him; his girlfriend, who longs to be a mother, wishes to adopt a child with him. After completing his last diamond heist, he decides to go straight and live a simple life with his girlfriend.
