Sean (Dwayne Douglas Johnson) is the administrator of a juvenile detention center, troubled daily by the conflicts among the young offenders. He believes that these juveniles cannot turn their lives around in such a confined environment, rendering his work meaningless. With the encouragement of his elderly mother, Sean decides to use football to change the kids' lives and get them back on track. After a tough lobbying effort, he finally persuades the college season to allow him to lead the juvenile offenders in a game, but convincing these troubled youth to form a real team proves to be even more challenging. Sean’s toughness and trust in the kids win them over, and he builds a team called the "Mustangs." To him, helping the kids regain their lost lives is more important than winning games. Soon they compete, facing numerous challenges along the way. What kind of results will this special team achieve?
