Melody (played by Sarah Yarkin) and her sister Layla (played by Elsie Fisher) travel to the remote town of Harlow, Texas, with friends Dante (played by Jacob Lattimore) and Ruth (played by Neil Hudson) to start an idealistic new business venture. However, their dream quickly turns into a nightmare when they accidentally disrupt the home of the Leatherface, a crazed serial killer whose bloody past still haunts the locals, including Sally Hardesty (played by Olwen Fouéré), the sole survivor of the 1973 massacre, who is determined to seek revenge.
