Emma and David have been married for seven years, taking care of two children together. Their life is plain but relatively happy, though David feels that Emma seems always preoccupied. To celebrate their anniversary, they plan to meet at a hotel. Emma dresses up for the occasion, while David is delayed by traffic. Bob approaches Emma, who is drinking alone, and they engage in a flirtatious conversation where Emma claims her name is Alice and that she works for a financial company. When David arrives and sees his wife chatting happily with a stranger, he pretends not to know her and joins them. After drinking, they each return to their rooms. After David falls asleep, Emma leaves a note saying she is going to buy medicine and goes to Bob's room. It turns out Bob has a specific purpose for getting close to Emma; they are both members of an assassin organization. Emma hesitates to continue as a hired killer because of her family; she deeply loves them. However, Bob hopes they can cooperate, and in a moment of desperation, Emma kills Bob to save herself. The next day, Emma claims to be on a business trip. As the police investigate the hotel murder, David must also be questioned. The police reveal Emma's true identity to David. He discovers a box containing secrets about his wife at home. David loves Emma and hopes they can face everything together; he sets off to Germany alone, hoping to learn the truth. Emma wishes for their family to assume a new identity and live in another country to escape the police and the organization, but unbeknownst to her, the organization has already found them. After a fight, the couple is taken away by the organization. When Emma wakes up, she finds her entire family captured. Her adoptive mother urges her to abandon her roles as a "wife" and "mother" and return to being an assassin, even compelling her to kill David to end everything. Emma pretends to agree but ultimately fights back, killing their captors and rescuing their two children, leading to a family reunion.
