Jackie (Kate Dickie) works in the control room of the "City Eye" system, quietly monitoring people in the night through cameras spread across the city. This silent job mirrors Jackie's current life: after losing her husband, she maintains a barely-there relationship with her indifferent lover, minimal communication with colleagues, and distant parents. All of this reflects her frozen emotions. One night, a figure captured on the camera disrupts Jackie's tranquil state of mind, prompting her to observe a man named Clyde Henderson (Tony Curran) all day long.
