Adapted from the manga of the same name by Nakamura Hikaru, the original story is based on the legend where the red Santa Claus delivers desired gifts to well-behaved children, while the black Santa Claus delivers unwanted gifts to naughty ones. It tells a wonderful story of a loser in the black Santa Claus company. Ryo Yoshizawa plays the protagonist, Hino Miharu, who has failed exams, failed to find a job, and has no girlfriend, yet is very active in the Christmas world. Kanna Hashimoto portrays Hino Miharu's colleague, Hojo Shino, while Taishi Nakagawa plays Hino Miharu's rival, Tanaka Koutei, a co-worker at the convenience store. Keisuke Watanabe plays the quiet and often expressionless colleague, Kohei Tetsuhira, who actually cares a lot about Hino Miharu.
