Mark Felt was the former deputy director of the FBI who, during the greatest political scandal in American history known as Watergate, disclosed damaging information about President Nixon to reporters at The Washington Post, leading to Nixon's resignation. At the time, he did not reveal his identity and used the title of a popular pornographic film as his code name, known as "Deep Throat." It wasn't until 2005 that Mark Felt admitted he was "Deep Throat."
