In a corner of a bustling metropolis, an Italian restaurant celebrates its grand opening. On this day, the manager, Takahiko Yagisawa (played by Hiroki Narimiya), respectfully welcomes guests including businesswoman Riko Tominaga (played by Hitomi Kuroki), House of Representatives member Shingo Yokote (played by Akira Nakao), obstetric nurse Hitomi Shimamura (played by Yumi Adachi), and TV director Hiroshi Kawai (played by Ken Ishiguro), among 11 others. However, shortly after the meal begins, an explosion occurs at the restaurant, resulting in the deaths of three individuals. The injured survivors hurriedly flee the scene, refusing to speak of the event. Officer Kazuki Tornō (played by Koichi Sato), who is preparing to celebrate his wife's birthday, is ordered to the scene with his rookie assistant Keita Takamura (played by Yuta Embara). The clues at the scene and the strange behavior of the survivors make him suspicious.
