Makoto (Miyuki Kuwano) is a rebellious high school girl. During a hitchhiking trip, she is almost assaulted by the driver, but is saved by Fujii Kiyoshi (Yusuke Kawazu), who happens to pass by. The next day, they meet again and agree to go to the river for some fun, but Kiyoshi treats Makoto roughly and attempts to rape her. However, Makoto does not take her anger out on Kiyoshi and even leaves him her contact information. Kiyoshi fails to contact Makoto for a long time because he is involved with a married woman. Heartbroken, Makoto drowns her sorrows in a bar, where she is harassed by some young thugs. Kiyoshi comes to her rescue, and they reconcile once more, deciding to live together. Since he spent all his money paying off the thugs, Kiyoshi cannot afford the tuition fees, so he decides to partner with Makoto to extort middle-aged men willing to give her a ride, and they frequently succeed. Soon after, Makoto becomes pregnant, and Kiyoshi insists she should have an abortion.
