The four-member youth rock band "Speed Way" has finally reached a critical moment in their debut after years of hard work. Their singles are selling well, live performances are booming, and their fanbase and recognition are growing daily. However, at this moment, Speed Way is faced with a dilemma. The record company boss (Shiro Kishibe) is indifferent to the essence of music, solely chasing maximum commercial profit; the other band members hope to write another hit single to attract more fans; while lead guitarist Nakajima (Kazunobu Mineta) laments the band's submission to commercialism, determined to pursue the true essence of rock music. As disagreements arise among the band members, Nakajima gradually feels isolated, but throughout this process, only his girlfriend (Kumiko Asou) consistently supports him. One day, Nakajima encounters the deity of music in his heart—Bob Dylan. He helps Nakajima find his path forward...This film is adapted from the manga of the same name by Jun Miura, with a screenplay by Kankuro Kudo.
