Scott Miller (played by Nic Rhind) was once a reckless young man during his college years, and he faced consequences for it. During this time, his girlfriend Jesse (played by Robyn Ledoux) from his hometown of Chappaqua, Washington, was forced by her parents to break up with him. Two years later, after much has changed, Scott and Jesse meet again, lamenting their fateful separation. At this point, Scott has a new girlfriend, Lydia (played by Marina Pasqua), a frivolous woman who enjoys wild parties at the Shark Club and ends up tragically dead in a bathroom. Coincidentally, Scott witnesses this scene and is pursued as the prime suspect. A local church with over a hundred years of history caught fire, and while firefighters were clearing the scene, one accidentally opened a sealed underground area, releasing a terrifying monstrous insect back into the world, which directly led to Lydia's death. After discovering the truth, will Scott ultimately be able to eliminate the monster?
