On a snowy night, ranger Sangje (played by Jinba) finds his cabin suddenly invaded by a man with a gun who claims to be from the forest police (played by Wang Zheng). He ambushes and captures a villager named Genbao (played by Gengdan), who is suspected to be a poaching accomplice. Just as the tension settles, another man (played by Dajiedingzeng) bursts in with a gun, claiming he is the real forest police... Who fired the shot? Who is lying? What other secrets lie hidden in this wilderness struggle for survival? The truth remains elusive, with tensions rising and a pair of eyes watching coldly from outside... The film is adapted from the short story of the same name by Tibetan writer Jiang Yangcairang.
