Yuto (played by Nariaki Mukai) is a very introverted boy, who remains silent in class and is immersed in his own world all day. The new teacher, Aoyama (played by Ryohei Shiozaki), catches Yuto’s attention, and unknowingly, the two start exchanging diaries. Although not good with words, Yuto is skilled at expressing his feelings through writing, and over time, he opens his heart to Aoyama. One day, Yuto misses school due to a cold, and a worried Aoyama comes to visit him. Alone in a room, in an ambiguous atmosphere, Aoyama can't control his feelings and kisses Yuto. Aoyama's kiss brings a tremendous shock to Yuto's heart, and he fiercely rejects Aoyama's affection. Afterward, Aoyama resigns from his teaching position, and the two never meet again.
