If it's not crazy, how can it be called youth? During graduation photo day before the college entrance examination, Yu Ran (played by Dong Zijian) boldly confesses his love using Tagore's poetry in front of the entire school for his three-year crush, Huang Jingjing (played by An Yuexi), and experiences the sweetness of first love. However, this sweetness is soon disrupted by his mother (played by Yong Mei), who arrives after hearing the news, and spurred by Yu Ran's mother, Huang Jingjing leaves proudly. Heartbroken, Yu Ran attempts to climb a wall to win back his first love but injures his tailbone. After losing his love and getting hurt, his performance in the college entrance examination suffers. Watching Huang Jingjing head to Fudan University, he decides to retake the year and chase after love, embarking on a crazy journey in senior year.
In every memory of youth, there’s a girl deeply trapped in secret admiration, several emotionally rich and loyal friends, a group of quirky buddies each with their own stories, and a shared memory for all. This is Youth Party – a vibrant time in life that always shines and never fades.
