University student Naoko Kanzaki (played by Eriko Todah) accidentally gets caught up in a terrifying game called Liar Game, where opponents deceive each other to win a huge cash prize. Naoko believes in the "inherent goodness of human nature" and faces every lie and betrayal in the game with the most sincere attitude towards everyone. Another contestant, the genius con artist Shinichi Akiyama (played by Shota Matsuda), stands out with his brilliant intellect and helps Naoko escape danger time and again. The Liar Game finals take place, featuring a peak showdown among 11 contestants. The theme this time is "The Fruit of Eden." If they can collect all the red apples, everyone wins; otherwise, they will face the tragic fate of being exiled from paradise. How many weaknesses of human nature will be exposed? What brilliant tactics will Akiyama unleash to dominate the competition? Will Naoko's beautiful beliefs help everyone escape the Liar Game alive, or will they be crushed once again by cruel reality?
