Lara (Alicia Vikander) has dedicated her life to researching ancient tombs. When Lara was young, her father went missing during an adventure. Years have passed, and Lara continues to refuse to acknowledge the news of her father's death and declines to take over the business empire left behind by him. One day, Lara discovers her father's adventure notes, which he hoped she would destroy. However, to search for her father's whereabouts, she decides to locate the island mentioned in the notes. Lara meets a man named Lu Ren (Daniel Wu), and the two set off on their journey together. As soon as they arrive on the island, they encounter Mathias (Walton Goggins), who has been at odds with her father, along with his mercenary team. Mathias is determined to find the tomb, and he killed Lara's father for refusing to reveal any information. Now, Lara has fallen into his clutches; what fate awaits her?
