During the Warring States period, surrounded by dense forest, Spider City had a complex terrain; any enemy forces that attacked here would inevitably lose their way. Therefore, the city lord confidently commanded from the tower, dispatching great generals to defend from all sides, ensuring that the city was as solid as a fortress. General Takeji Utsumi (played by Toshiro Mifune) and his deputy Miki, having effectively quelled a rebellion, were preparing to return to the city for their reward.
