The film tells the story of music teacher Yu Jing (played by Ke Jia Yan), who wanders to Hualien to heal her broken heart; the disheartened wandering teacher Xing Zhi Yuan (played by Fu Meng Bo) is reassigned to a rural school, where he views a singing competition as a stepping stone for his educational career.
