In a house in the outskirts, the male head of the household, Kato Seiki (played by Tomokazu Miura), who runs a hardware store, originally had a happy family with his wife, Nako (played by Nanako Matsushima). However, for reasons unknown, the Kato family gradually strayed from their original path. The eldest son, Abo (played by Hirofumi Arai), is obedient and eager to learn, becoming a member of the consumer society as per his father’s expectations, yet he struggles to handle interpersonal relationships, feeling increasingly repressed and ultimately heading towards a tragic fate. One day, Arinori, having reached a breaking point, erupts in a shocking incident that undoubtedly accelerates the Kato family's downward spiral...
