Due to siding with Captain America in "Civil War," Ant-Man Scott Lang (played by Paul Rudd) has been placed under house arrest by the FBI. Just a few days away from true freedom, trouble comes knocking. It turns out that the original Ant-Man, Hank Pym (played by Michael Douglas), has discovered through research that his wife, the Wasp (played by Michelle Pfeiffer), is likely still alive in the quantum realm, and Scott is the only hope to bring her back to the real world. Without further ado, Hank's daughter Hope (played by Evangeline Lilly) takes Scott out of his house. Shortly after, they not only have to evade the FBI's pursuit but also guard against attacks from mysterious forces, and the appearance of "Ghost" leads Scott and the others into unprecedented chaos. Can Scott successfully gain his freedom? Is the original Wasp still alive somewhere in the quantum realm?
