Two years after the "Battle of Sokovia," Thor (Chris Hemsworth) uncovers Loki's (Tom Hiddleston) disguise and eventually finds Odin (Anthony Hopkins), who has been exiled to Earth. However, a dying Odin reveals to his sons that "Ragnarok" has begun, and the goddess of death, Hela (Cate Blanchett), who was banished by Odin, is about to return to Asgard. In their initial confrontation with Hela, Thor loses his hammer and he and Loki are thrown down to the chaotic planet Sakaar. In the Sakaar gladiatorial arena, Thor reunites with the long-lost Hulk and encounters the Valkyrie, who has escaped from Hela's clutches. After much hardship, Thor and his allies return to the gloomy Asgard to confront the impending "Ragnarok"…
