While many people think having superpowers is a good thing, the reality is quite the opposite. Chris (Nicolas Cage) has an innate ability to predict the future, but he has lived in pain since childhood: various organizations, governments, and hospitals have shown intense interest in him, causing his happy childhood to be spent in testing and research.
