This film is adapted from the novel of the same name by renowned British author Julian Barnes, which won the Booker Prize in 2011. In the 1960s, high school student Tony has two friends who love reading and discussing sex, often gathering to tease each other. Later, the learned and wise Adrian joins them, which quietly changes the dynamics of their little group. As an adult, Tony married and divorced, leading a quiet and untroubled life after retirement. However, a will from an old girlfriend’s mother alters the course of his life, forcing him to look back and explore the mysteries of the past. He finds that the memories he once trusted have become fraught with doubts, and the once mild and harmless version of himself has become unrecognizable. When memory deceives you, who can interpret your life?
