In the future of 2092, Mars has become a popular vacation destination for Earthlings. At 118 years old, Nemo Nobody (played by Jared Leto) is the last natural person who will still die. His memories are fragmented, and through repeated hypnosis and interviews, he continuously recalls his childhood, only to find that each life decision has led to completely different lives. Among these various versions, there is Anna (played by Diane Kruger), who becomes Nemo's "sister" after her mother (Natasha Little) and father (Rhys Ifans) divorce and remarry; there is Elise (played by Sarah Polley), who suffers from depression and has unstable emotions after marriage; and there is Gene (played by Linh Dan Pham), an Asian woman with whom he has three children. Interwoven with theories of the Big Bang, string theory, and the nature of time, what is the truth of Nemo's life? This film was nominated for the Golden Lion at the 2009 Venice Film Festival and won the Best Fiction Biopic award and the Golden Osella for Best Technical Contribution.
