A man and a woman who initially planned to elope are ultimately captured by an organization, blindfolded and bound, and taken to a desolate wilderness. The surroundings are silent, leading them to feel as if they are trapped in a pitch-black basement. The organization's members taunt and abuse them, and when the man seizes an opportunity, he escapes naked; the woman is hung on a cross by the organization, awaiting a ritualistic punishment. To rescue his lover, the man soon returns to unleash unforgiving massacre upon the organization's members, including their sadistic leader. In the silent wilderness, blood spills… The film is inspired by a location shoot by Koji Wakamatsu and was shot in collaboration with Masao Adachi's work "Girl Student Guerrilla." The script is penned by Takeshi Yamatoya, and the title is named by Nagisa Oshima.
