Good brothers who grew up together, Ma Haotian (played by Liu Qingyun), Zhang Ziwei (played by Zhang Jiahui), and Su Jianqiu (played by Gu Tianle) work together in the police's narcotics unit. After a last-minute change of plans during an operation, Jianqiu becomes hesitant about his undercover identity, which prevents him from living a normal life with his wife (played by Yuan Quan). However, after persuasion from Haotian and Ziwei, the three decide to make one last effort. Jianqiu follows drug lord Hei Chai (played by Lin Guobin) to Thailand to connect with drug dealer Bobby (played by Lu Huiguang), aiming to meet their primary target, "The Eight-faced Buddha" (played by Lu Haipeng). Haotian, Ziwei, and their colleague Ayi (played by Wu Tingye) follow up on the operation. Due to poor cooperation from the Thai police, Jianqiu's identity is exposed. The Eight-faced Buddha promises that if Mian Na is returned, Haotian can leave with either Jianqiu or Ziwei, while the one not chosen will be thrown into a crocodile pit. Faced with this decision, Haotian finds himself in a dilemma...
