Yurushi Akaboshi (played by Go Ayano), who works at a television station, receives a call from his ex-girlfriend Risako Kayano (played by Misako Renbutsu) and learns that Noriko was Risako's senior at work. Noriko was not only beautiful and glamorous but also kind-hearted and helpful, just like a princess in a fairy tale. Akaboshi then discovers that Miki Shiroya (played by Mao Inoue), who joined the company at the same time as Noriko, is the prime suspect, and she has now been reported missing. To uncover the truth, Akaboshi interviews people around Noriko and Miki on his own. As he seems to get closer to the truth, everything around him grows increasingly perplexing… This film is adapted from Kanae Minato's novel of the same name.
