Xiaowen (played by Ye Binghui) is an innocent and naive girl. Recently, she has been having strange dreams that leave her feeling lethargic during the day. Xiaowen shares her confusion with her friend Yaoyao (played by Zhang Shuying), and on Yaoyao's suggestion, Xiaowen starts exploring radio stations. By chance, Xiaowen meets a hypnotist (played by Jiang Ming), and she and Yaoyao decide to see this hypnotist to see if he can help her find answers. To her shock, upon meeting the hypnotist, Xiaowen discovers that he is the very antagonist she encountered in her dreams. After an introduction by Yaoyao, Xiaowen visits a psychologist, who tells her that she has another patient with the same symptoms as her, and that patient is none other than the hypnotist.
