When the young Charlie Parker first arrived in New York, he was just an ordinary musician. However, his latent talent and indomitable spirit made his saxophone playing increasingly popular, earning him a bit of fame and the beautiful title "Bird." The melodious music, accompanied by flowers and applause, gradually engrossed Parker, but the ups and downs of life left him spiritually lost, leading him to develop a drug addiction. His devoted wife decided to help Bird rise again at all costs... Clint Eastwood, the Hollywood superstar and renowned director, infused this film with his lifelong love for jazz. With the superb performances of the actors, the film won the Academy Award for Best Sound, the Best Actor Award at the Cannes Film Festival, a Palme d'Or nomination, a Golden Globe nomination for Best Director, and Best Performance, as well as the Best Supporting Actress Award from the New York Film Critics Circle.
