Erika (played by Christina Milian) is a singer who once had a prominent place in the pop music scene, but an unexpected incident brought her career to a halt. One day, Erika receives a gig to perform at a luxurious resort in Mauritius for the wedding of a couple. Coincidentally, the groom is none other than Erika's ex-boyfriend, Jason (played by Jay Pharoah). Erika wants to hide her history with Jason from the bride, Beverly (played by Jeryl Prescott), but she soon realizes that all her efforts are in vain, as deep down, she still has feelings for Jason. Caleb (played by Sinqua Walls), Jason's brother, notices Erika's feelings and vows to do whatever it takes to protect his brother's marriage.
