On a rainy day, the lonely Saeki Fumi (played by Matsuzaka Tori) encounters a desolate and helpless girl named Karen in a park on his way home. He feels a surge of empathy and offers the girl a place to stay at his home to escape the rain. Surprisingly, the already soaked girl agrees to his proposal. From then on, the man and woman live under the same roof; their relationship is pure and innocent, relying on each other while maintaining a respectful distance. Until one day, the mystery of Karen's background is revealed, and to protect the helpless girl, Fumi willingly pays a price.
