One day, Sayaka Yoruiko of the Takayanagi Ballet Company (played by Haruka Kinami) is accused of murdering a stranger and is subjected to police investigation. Detective Kyōichirō Kaga (played by Hiroshi Abe) is assigned to assist Detective Ōta (played by Akira Emoto) from the Shakujii North Police Station in uncovering the truth. After preliminary questioning, the police believe this is a case of justifiable self-defense resulting from a burglary, but Kaga sees many points of suspicion. He interviews the troupe's lead actress Akiko Takayanagi (played by Kei Onizuki), the newcomer Miyo Asaka who plays the Black Swan (played by Satomi Ishihara), the male dancer Yagyu who plays the Bluebird, and the troupe leader Yasunari Kajita (played by Hira Takeda), and discovers that this group of "expert liars" harbors a web of complex relationships and secrets. In the face of desire, there are no secrets that can be forever hidden… This film is adapted from Keigo Higashino's original work of the same name and is a special episode of the "Shinzanmono" series.
