Albert (Seth MacFarlane) is a good-natured farmer who is both lucky and unlucky; the woman he loves, Louise (Amanda Seyfried), is a stunning beauty with a hot figure. When faced with a duel against the bully Foy (Neil Patrick Harris), the cowardly Albert chooses to back down, and as a result, Louise leaves him. How to win back his girlfriend's heart becomes an unsolvable problem for Albert. Just then, a mysterious woman named Anna (Charlize Theron) appears in Albert's life. She not only teaches him how to shoot but also helps him regain his confidence. During this process, Albert gradually falls in love with Anna. However, Anna's husband, Clinch (Liam Neeson), is not an easy character; as a notorious outlaw, he won't spare Albert for daring to "steal his woman."
