The wandering young man Nobuhiro Hiran (played by Masatomi Nagase) encounters the enchanting married woman Nami Tsuchiya (played by Shinobu Ohtake) in a certain place. Attracted to her, Hiran follows her to a small shop. This is a small real estate agency operated by Nami and her husband Hidetaka Tsuchiya (played by Hideto Muruta). Determined, Hiran asks Hidetaka to let him work there to get closer to Nami. In the days that follow, their relationship remains calm and uneventful. On a rainy summer day, Nami searches for Hiran at a property, and they end up having an intimate encounter, nearly being caught by Hidetaka.
