The big star Drew Barrymore once played the lovable little girl Gertie in the famous sci-fi blockbuster "E.T. the Extra-Terrestrial," but in "Tide of Desire," the Barrymore that viewers see is no longer a little girl; she has grown into a mature and sexy woman. Qianwei is a rebellious and unhappy rich girl who, by chance, meets Ivy, a girl with a completely different personality. Ivy's enthusiastic and open demeanor, along with her unique mysterious aura, shocks Qianwei. Driven by curiosity, she desperately wants to be friends with Ivy. As fate would have it, Ivy moves into Qianwei's home, but from that moment on, disasters follow in quick succession: her father is seduced and cheats on his wife because of Ivy, and her mother mysteriously falls to her death...
