Shinjuku is a bustling area in Tokyo, second only to Ginza, with a dense population and a chaotic atmosphere. One day, someone suddenly shouted "Thief," and a group of people chased and caught the thief, stripping away his clothes to reveal only a pouch covering him, with a cherry blossom tattoo on his abdomen. The pursuers exclaimed "We give in," and all stood on their heads, turning the incident into a promotional performance for "live theater." A bystander named Birdman entered a bookstore near Shinjuku Station and stole several books on sexual science and body art, only to be caught by the clerk Plum and taken to the boss. While being apprehended, Birdman continued to steal and said, "I almost ejaculated." After being caught, Birdman showed no remorse. The boss appreciated Birdman's choice of books and even paid Plum to accompany him to a restaurant. The two looked at the stolen books together, teased each other, and attempted to have sex that night, but it was unsuccessful. The next day, they consulted a sex scientist, leading to explicit discussions about sex appearing continuously on the screen, but both lost interest. To stimulate their sexual desires, they went to spy on a geisha doing it. In a bid to help these inexperienced individuals, the participants pretended to rape Plum, but it turned into an actual scenario. Late at night, Plum stacked interesting books in the bookstore, and with every book she picked up, the image of the author appeared alongside a reading of a passage. Later, the two joined the "live theater" in "Expectation Disruption Drama," with Plum simulating a cesarean using menstruation. At this point, young people on the streets of Shinjuku began throwing stones. In the end, students from the anti-Japanese Communist faction's All Japan Student Autonomous Union attacked Shinjuku Station during an anti-war day.
